RS-485 Board provides an interface between the TTL/CMOS logic levels commonly used on microcontrollers and the RS-485 bus. This RS-485 Board to communicate through the RS-485 interface via the standard UART bus pins: RX and TX. The RS-485 board utilizes the ST485BDR.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The main component of the RS-485 board is the ST485BDR, a – 7 V to 12 V common mode low power, RS-485 transceiver. This IC used to bridge between the CMOS/TTL signal levels and RS-485 bus.
